A long time a ago I tested w.bloggar for posting to my blog. For some reason I ended up with the web-based built-in interface of WordPress instead.
I have finally taken the time to configure w.bloggar, so I don’t have to log into the admin-interface of WordPress. It’s a relief to not having to worry about timeouts and other inconveniences and just write.
I have not checked if there is a proper spelling checker in this program, but otherwise it looks really neat.
Her is a screen shot of this post

Update:
There are two things I can’t quite figure out: How does the image upload function work?
How come a post that I have just posted dissapears when I try to update it and press “Post” instead of “Post & Publish”?
Do you know?

Ohh, I’m so bad at this stuff, but I think it’s because the post will turn it into a WIP (and otherwise “de-publish” what you’ve written), whereas post & publish will work much in the same way that ‘Save’ works in the WP editor.
Of course, I haven’t been able to set up the edit-my-posts option at all because it keeps wonking around with the time of the post, but that’s my first guess
Probably you are right. As I tested different editors, I ended up using WP’s own editor because the alternative ones gave me to much crap and was not reliable at all.
When you write a post, you need to feel sure it will not suddenly dissapear
