As I tested different editors, I ended up using WP's own editor because the alternative ones gave me to much crap and was not reliable at all. When you write a post, you need to feel sure it will not suddenly dissapear ;) Probably you are right. Ohh, I’m so bad at this stuff, but I think it’s because the post will turn it into a WIP (and otherwise “de-publish” what you’ve written), whereas post & publish will work much in the same way that ‘Save’ works in the WP editor.
