I see that when searching for Online Casino BTDino in MSN, my blog here keeps climbing in the serps. But I can’t pinpoint what exactly is the reason for this strange behaviour. The blog is currently on the top of the second page - witch of course is nice. But it still is strange. There are not many inbound links with “Online Casino BTDino” in the anchor text. The page that ranks for it hardly mentions the phrase.
Odd.

Finally I took the time to upgrade WordPress (the blog-script for this blog) to version 2.0
The Guys at WordPress has done a beautiful job with this upgrade. I did not have any problems, and the upgrade instructions were extremely helpful and simple to follow.
Thumbs up, guys!
This also gave me access to a few very interesting Plugins. One of them is a good comment-spam filter, the other creates technorati-tags. It will be very interesting to see how it all works.

I just stumbled over a site giving out free .be domains for one year. I thought you might be interested to check it out at Nucleus site, and grab one if you need a domain for a project.
The search engine marketing contest of v7n starts tomorrow january the 15th at noon standard pacific time and I feel well prepared for participating. I have decided to use this blog for the contest, and have teamed up with my wife Ania to blog about it - and whatever else we might come up with that might help our rankings as soon at the key phrase has been released by John.
It is a long time since I felt so excited about anything web-related. And frankly, I have never won anything in my life, except my 3 children and my beautiful and clever wife of course 
This contest will be really interesting, since it looks like quite a few people from DigitalPoint’s forums has decided to participate.
Being a member on many forums and sites, I see a sea of bullshit when it comes to what works, and does not regarding the marketing of your site. I just read a very interesting thread posted by Compar on DigitalPoint’s forums.
Read the thread and judge for yourself.
Especially the line … “Just set out to link as if your site traffic depended on
it, and that Google did not exist.”
Makes sense to me.
I thought I’ll give it a shot to see if I can rank well for Online Casino BTDino in MSN. This is a competition with USD 1.500 for the top spot in MSN.
To participate you have to have the text under on the page you compete with.
It will be interesting to see if it is true as I think that it is not really needed to have many incomming links for this page to be able to rank well. Oh well. There is a comming up more and more of these competitions. Maybe this is something that will be possible to make a living out of?

Actually it seems like Online Casino BTDino is not so dependent on incomming links to climb in MSN, as this post now ranks at the third page in the serps. Not bad for just a few days, since I created this Online Casino BTDino page.
I’m experimenting a bit with the onpage content to see how it affects my rank. We will see in a couple days or so.

Spring cleaning?!?! It’s early december.. Yeah, I know. It sounded stupid.
Anyway. Most of you come here because of the BitTorrent Trackers list I have maintained for quite some time now. I’m happy about that, and have therefore (again) put the list on the front page, so it is easy and quick to use it. If there are some trackers you miss in the list, you could always suggest it.
